DENVER (October 3, 2023) – Moye White is pleased to announce that attorneys Nicholas H. Thompson and Chris Levkulich have been appointed to the Colorado Bar Association’s Tax Section Executive Council for 2023-2024. Thompson will be an At-Large Council Member and Levkulich will serve as the Section’s Vice-Chair.
The Section exists to inform its members about trends and developments in federal and state tax laws, regulations, court decisions, and administrative policies through programming and publications. Through a standing committee, the Section comments on tax laws and regulations and works for improvements in both.
Thompson will lead continuing legal education efforts and help support federal and state tax legislative initiatives in Colorado. Thompson is a business attorney with a practice focused on entity formation, transactional work, strategic business and succession planning, estate and wealth planning, reorganizations, tax planning, and estate administration.
As Vice-Chair, Levkulich will work with other executive council members to ensure members of the tax section have a voice on new tax-related laws, regulations, and policies. He has served as a member of the Section’s Executive Council since 2016, having previously held the Treasurer and Secretary positions.
