Tom is a partner at Moye White and a member of the firm’s real estate group. He has over twenty four years of experience in commercial real estate, including development, land use and zoning, sales and acquisitions, leasing, landlord/tenant, eviction, workouts, bankruptcy, and financing. His clients include developers, REITs, property management companies, property owners, and condominium and owner associations.

Tom List has extensive experience in mortgage banking and finance, representing mortgage insurance companies, mortgage companies and financial institutions; he is a frequent speaker on the topic of mortgage deficiencies. Tom List coordinates collection activities nationally for several large mortgage insurance companies and mortgage lenders. He is a specialist in the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as state laws governing collections. He is also an expert in the area of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, having participated in contested lien avoidance matters and hearings regarding the valuation of secured collateral.

Other areas of expertise include matters pertaining to judicial and public trustee real property foreclosures in Colorado. He is knowledgeable in the regulations governing foreclosure of HUD and Veterans Administration insured loans and loan documentation, and his practice has resolved title issues affecting real property. List also serves as general counsel for the National Flood Determination Association.
