For Melissa Ryan, the future is as wide open as the Colorado outdoors. As an attorney in Moye White’s real estate group, Melissa handles complex real property transactions and leverages business opportunities for her clients.

Melissa provides general counsel to local governments, land developers, homebuilders, owners, lenders, investors, and contractors in the formation of metropolitan and special taxing districts for construction, management, operation, and financing of public services, historic, commercial, and industrial facilities.

As integral components of her practice, Melissa utilizes her transactional talents to draft documentation, review and establish covenants, easements, licenses, and title work, and assist clients in capital acquisition, environmental compliance, insurance, land use, zoning, and entitlements. In addition, she drafts, reviews, and lobbies for municipal bond issuances to fund public real estate projects.

Melissa represents developers in drafting and negotiating the contracts needed to carry out their projects, including agreements with contractors, construction managers, architects, investors, and lenders. She often collaborates with other attorneys in our firm who possess real estate licenses on questions related to specific property issues.

With an extensive transactional background, Melissa is well qualified to offer comprehensive counsel with regard to corporate structure, formation, and governance, as well as finance, acquisitions, insurance, and a variety of operational initiatives.
