For Lindsey Rothrock, imitation is not always the sincerest form of flattery. As an attorney in Moye White’s intellectual property group, Lindsey helps clients protect their brands, creative works, designs, proprietary information, and business products.
Determined and dedicated to her clients’ needs, Lindsey represents and advises corporations, nonprofits, writers, designers, entertainers, and other professional businesses with regard to federal trademark and copyright registrations, brand development and protection, contracts, licensing, trademark and copyright infringement, and cease and desist actions.
She conducts trademark and domain name searches, investigates and enforces noncompete issues, protects trade secrets, secures technology rights, and pursues claims of unfair competition. Lindsey handles all trademark submissions to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and also offers business counsel with regard to general operations and commercial strategy as they relate to intellectual property concerns.
Though she always endeavors to solve claims in an amicable manner, when necessary Lindsey works with the firm’s litigators to protect and defend client interests in court, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
Outside the office, Lindsey volunteers as a coach for the Mountain Vista High School Mock Trial team, paving the way for the next generation of attorneys and judges who will impact the world of tomorrow.
